Office clearance

Office clearance in Worthing and across Sussex

Offices cleared of furniture, equipment and waste, with minimal disruption and full paperwork.

Office moves, downsizes, refurbishments and closures all leave furniture and equipment that needs to go. We clear desks, chairs, filing cabinets, meeting furniture, kitchen items and general waste from offices of all sizes.

We can work evenings and weekends, dismantle furniture on site, protect lifts and common areas, and provide a waste transfer note for every clearance.

Can't speak highly enough of this service. They were speedy, efficient and polite. Above all they were very reasonably priced. Thankyou so much guys I will be happy to recommend you to friends and neighbours.

IT and confidential waste

IT equipment must have its data securely wiped or destroyed before collection. Confidential paperwork should be shredded by a specialist. Once that is done, we can take equipment for WEEE recycling.

We are happy to work alongside your IT and shredding providers.

Advice

Office moves and downsizes

When a business moves to a smaller office or to hybrid working, a lot of furniture is left over: surplus desks, pedestals, meeting chairs, storage units and kitchen equipment. We can clear it before the move, so the removal firm only handles what is going to the new office, or after the move, when the old space needs to be emptied for handover.

We can also clear archive rooms and storerooms once confidential papers have been shredded by a specialist, leaving the space ready for the next occupant.

For larger offices, we agree a clearance plan floor by floor, label what is staying, and work in the evenings or at weekends if staff are still in the building. Chairs and desks are dismantled where needed so they can be carried safely through corridors and lifts, and communal areas are protected and swept as we go.

Good to know

Reusing office furniture

Good-quality office furniture can often be reused. Where possible, we set it aside rather than dispose of it.

Metal cabinets and frames are recycled, and timber is recycled where possible.

Office clearances and moves

When a business moves, downsizes or refurbishes, there is often a lot of furniture and equipment that is not going to the new premises. We clear desks, chairs, filing cabinets, meeting tables, kitchen equipment and general office waste, and we can dismantle furniture on site.

IT equipment should have its data securely wiped or destroyed by a specialist before we collect it. We can then take it for WEEE recycling.

How it works

Four simple steps from first message to a clear space.

1

Send us photos

WhatsApp a few pictures of the waste and the route to the road, or call 01903 962 492. Tell us your postcode and when suits you.

2

Get a clear price

We reply with a fixed quote based on what we can see. No hidden extras, no pressure, and no obligation to book.

3

We load and sweep

Our team arrives on the agreed day, carries everything out, loads the van and sweeps up behind us.

4

Responsible disposal

Waste goes to licensed facilities to be sorted and recycled where possible. Businesses get a waste transfer note.

What affects the price

We quote every job individually, usually from photos. The main factors are:

Volume and weight

The main factors.

Material mix

Some materials cost more to dispose of.

Timing

Out-of-hours work may affect the price.

Access

Upper floors and restricted loading take longer.

Frequency

Regular collections can be priced as a package.

How to prepare

  • Tell us the type and approximate volume of waste.
  • Confirm access times, loading bays and parking arrangements.
  • Remove confidential documents and wipe data from IT equipment.
  • Label anything that is staying.
  • Tell us if the work needs to be done out of hours.
  • Let us know who will sign the waste transfer note.

Responsible disposal

Where your waste goes

Commercial waste is sorted into recyclable streams where possible and taken to licensed facilities. Every collection is recorded on a waste transfer note.

Whoever takes your waste, check they are a registered waste carrier. Householders have a legal duty of care, and if waste you paid someone to remove is fly-tipped it can be traced back to you. We are licensed and insured, take every load to authorised facilities, and are always happy to show our credentials.
